Executive Assistant - Administrator's Office

Position Summary:

Wages: $17.90 - $23.28 per hour, Pay grade 4 in addition to comprehensive benefit package
Hours: 40 hours per week

Under the supervision of the County Administrator, provides clerical and administrative support to the County Administrator and members of the County Board of Commissioners. Assists the County Administrator in preparing for and following-up on projects and Board meeting items. Establishes office filing and recordkeeping systems and peforms a variety of word processing and spreadsheet functions. Provides administrative support to the Planning Commission and Solid Waste Committee and others as required. Provides support to the Human Resources function of the Administrator’s Office.

Employment Qualifications:

  • Education: A high school diploma with related higher level education preferred.
  • Experience: Four years of progressively more responsible secretarial/administrative experience including experience with Microsoft Office, and general office administration. Human Resources experience also highly preferred and desired.
  • Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
