Commission on Aging Executive Director

Position Summary:

Under the general supervision of the County Administrator, oversees day-to-day operations, fulfilling COA Board goals, planning and developing programs, and providing services for the older adult population of St. Joseph County.

Employment Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree, preferably with a concentration in public or businees or healthcare administration.
  • Experience: Three to five years experience in a leadership role. Program management, human services, budgeting, public relations, personal management, with an emphasis in governmental accounting also preferred. Additional experience working with the older adult population is strongly desired.
