Fees:	$13.00 for the first certified copy of a marriage certificate.
	$4.00 for each subsequent copy of the same record.

NO PERSONAL CHECKS

Requests must be for persons that APPLIED for the license in St. Joseph County. Marriage records for St. Joseph County start with the year 1832. Marriage records are open to the public. Marriage records are filed in the county where the license was issued, which would be the county of residence. You can obtain a certified copy of a marriage license by filling out the MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE REQUEST FORM and mailing it to the St. Joseph County Clerk with the appropriate fee or bringing it in person with the appropriate fee.
