| Hours: | Hours vary, part time, on call. |
Position Summary: |
| Under the supervision of the In-Home Services Coordinator, provides personal care services and assists clients with daily living activities according to an individual care plan. Attends to the personal hygiene needs of the client including, bathing, dressing and grooming tasks. Assists with housekeeping and other needs to assist in maintaining a safe and sanitary environment. |
Employment Qualifications: |
| Education: |
| High School graduation or equivalent required. Completion of a certified nurse’s aide training class preferred. |
| Experience: |
| Some prior experience working in a nursing home, extended care facility, home health care, community health, or similar setting preferred. |
| Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: |
| Able to withstand prolong periods of standing and walking, squatting, stooping to perform personal hygiene tasks and transferring. Ability to climb stairs, able to lift and move supplies, furniture, laundry, groceries, and other items while performing various tasks. Reliable vehicle required. |
| Certification/Licensure: |
| Valid Michigan driver's license required. |
