Meals on Wheels Driver- Part Time

Position Information:

Starting Wage: Starting wage $8.83 per hour
   
Hours: Substitute/Part Time/On Call

 

Position Summary:

Under the supervision of the Nutrition Director, operates personal or company vehicle to deliver meals to client homes. Loads meals for delivery. Observes seniors at time of delivery of meals noting any problems they may be experiencing. Keeps log of activities.

 

Employment Qualifications:

Education:
Equivalent of 8th grade education with basic math and reading skills.
 
Experience:
No prior experience is required.
 
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
N/A
 
Certification/Licensure:
Valid Michigan driver's license required. Able to be insurable by the Commission's insurance carrier and to undergo a required background check. Must be able to successfully complete CPR and First Aid training.
