| Position
Summary: |
| Under
the supervision of the In-Home Services Coordinator, provides
chore work and assists clients with heavier cleaning, yard work
or other similar activities according to service order. Performs
chore and other duties, as requested, to assist the senior in
maintaining a safe home environment. |
|
| Education: |
Tenth grade education or equivalent. |
| Experience: |
Ability
to travel throughout the county to access client’s homes.
Prolonged periods of standing and walking. Squatting,
stooping, kneeling to perform various tasks. Ability to
lift 50 pounds or more. Ability to climb stairs and ladders
in performing chore duties. Ability to lift and move supplies,
furniture, boxes, clutter other items while performing
various tasks. Ability to push a lawnmower. Ability to
use various cleaning agents or tools in the process of
completing chore tasks. |
| Certification/
Licensure: |
A
valid drivers license to drive in the State of Michigan
preferred. |
