| Position
Summary: |
| Seasonal
Position. Under the supervision of the Director of Parks &
Recreation, the Nottawa Campground Attendant is responsible
for customer service, public relations, and facility operation
and maintenance at Nottawa Park Campground and Beach. The Campground
Attendant will be responsible for taking reservations for camping,
shelter rentals, picnic area rentals, as well as daily cleaning
service for restrooms and garbage cans. Nottawa Park is a 19-acre
park on the shore of Sand Lake, which features 19 campsites,
a swimming beach, boat launch, picnic shelter, playground, softball
diamond, volleyball court, and vault toilets. |

| Education: |
This
job prefers knowledge normally acquired through a general
high school education. |
Experience
/
Physical Requirements: |
Some
experience or knowledge in campground operations is
preferred. This job requires occasional lifting
up to thirty five (35) pounds and navigating hills/stairs.
Occasional exposure to disagreeable working conditions
due to foul/cold/hot weather. Periodic exposure to health
hazards due to operation of vehicles and power equipment,
and contact with poisonous insects and plants.

Licensure: |
The
ability to communicate and deal effectively with all
types and elements of the public is required.
A valid State of Michigan driver’s license is required.
