3B District Court: Civil Marriage Ceremonies

The District Court Magistrate conducts civil marriage ceremonies. The ceremonies are held at the Court House in Centreville during normal business hours.

* The fee for a civil marriage is $10.00.

* The couple being wed must bring two witnesses who are a minimum of 18 years of age and a marriage license from the county of residence.

* If a translator is needed for any language barrier, it will be the responsibility of the couple being wed to provide the translator for the ceremony. The court will not supply translators.

* The County Clerk’s office maintains the schedule of available dates and times for the District Court Magistrates.
